The Grosse Pointe communities line the calm waters of Lake St. Clair east of Detroit, known for tree-lined streets, historic estates like the Ford House, and lakeside parks. This serene, established setting pairs well with slow, mindful self-care.
Five separate municipalities share the name, and Kercheval ties them together through the Village and the Hill while freighters pass in sight of the shore all summer. Sessions are held remotely wherever you are most comfortable, and blends are mixed in Michigan and mailed, whichever Pointe you call home.
Grosse Pointe rests along the shore of Lake St. Clair, where the shallow water catches the light and the pier at Neff Park reaches out toward the horizon. The lake keeps a steady presence through the seasons, from humid summer evenings to the quiet cold of winter, when the ice-skating rink opens and the shoreline settles into stillness. A place shaped this gently invites a slower rhythm, and a gentle practice can meet that rhythm well. Rev. Michael Allison offers in-person flower essence and Reiki sessions nearby in Metro Detroit, working from Madison Heights, and many people find these complementary supports steadying alongside their usual routines. For those who prefer to stay home, distance Reiki, flower essences, and aura sprays ship anywhere in Michigan, letting a calm ritual unfold near the water you already know.
