Rochester is under half an hour northwest and the lake takes the rest of the attention. A remote session fits between the two without a drive. Flower essence blends are mixed in Michigan and travel to you by post.
Canandaigua Lake is the fourth largest of the Finger Lakes, twenty-nine miles southeast of Rochester, lying across Ontario and Yates counties. It runs fifteen and a half miles long by about a mile and a half wide, with a shoreline of nearly thirty-six miles. The name comes from the Seneca language and is usually given as the chosen spot or at the chosen town, which tells you how long this end of the lake has been settled. The city of Canandaigua is the seat of Ontario County, with Geneva, at the top of Seneca Lake, its largest city, so the two Finger Lakes sit within one county boundary and a short drive of each other.
