✨ Holistic Healing in Cottage Grove, OR
🌐 Distance Healing & Shipped ProductsRemote Reiki and custom flower essence blends reach Cottage Grove by mail, offered with steady attention to a valley town of old bridges and old mine roads.
A Lane County town at the foot of a former gold district, with river-trail access and covered-bridge country nearby, suiting unhurried, outdoor-leaning routines.
The good country here is up the Row River and into the Bohemia hills, which is where people go rather than into a studio. A session received at home fits that pattern easily. Essences and aura sprays are blended to order in Michigan and posted to your address.
Cottage Grove calls itself the Covered Bridge Capital of the West, and six of Lane County's covered bridges stand in or around the town: Centennial, Currin, Dorena, Mosby Creek, Stewart, and the Chambers Railroad Bridge, the only remaining covered railroad bridge in Oregon. From town the Row River Trail runs fourteen paved miles along the Row River and the shore of Dorena Reservoir, following the abandoned Oregon Pacific and Eastern rail line; the rails-to-trails effort behind it began with a working group in 1992. That railway existed because gold was found in the Bohemia mountains above town in the mid-1800s. Mining faded in the 1920s and left ghost shanty towns and abandoned workings in the hills, remembered now at the Bohemia Gold Mining Museum and each July at Bohemia Mining Days.
